U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton departs Guam for Indo-Pacific patrol

The Legend-class USCGC Stratton (WMSL 752) and the Sentinel-class USCGC Myrtle Hazard (WPC 1139) transit the Philippine Sea off Guam, on May 10, 2025. Stratton is deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force. U.S. Coast Guard operations in the Indo-Pacific date back more than 150 years, and the service is increasing efforts through targeted patrols with national security cutters, fast response cutters, and other activities conducted in support of maritime security and national defense to enhance our regional partnerships.
