U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton departs Guam for Indo-Pacific patrol

Petty Officer 3rd Class Charles Link, a crewmemeber assigned to the Legend-class USCGC Stratton (WMSL 752), maneuvers a U.S. Coast Guard 35-foot Long Range Interceptor II boat out of Guam’s Apra Harbor, on May 10, 2025. Stratton is deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force. Coast Guard national security cutters like Stratton routinely deploy to the region to engage with partner nations to ensure a secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
