Fredbird, the St. Louis Cardinals team mascot, salutes Airmen from the 375th Air Mobility Wing, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., at Busch Stadium as they prepare to present the giant flag for nearly 50,000 fans to see April 8, 2013. Scott AFB has been involved in numerous community sporting events, but this was the first time they presented the flag at the opening day of the season.
