A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter with Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, carrying U.S. Soldiers with 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border, lift off of an airfield at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, for a mirrored aerial patrol with personnel from the Mexican Army and National Guard under the Mexican Secretariat of National Defense (Defensa), are joining forces to carry out mirrored patrol operations, each military force in its respective territory, which has led to favorable results in reducing the illegal flow of people across the common border and drug trafficking. These coordinated actions demonstrate the strong understanding and collaboration between both armed forces, aimed at ensuring security along the shared border for the benefit of the U.S. and Mexico.
