Soldiers from the 1st Mobile Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), organize into their chalks and receive administrative information ahead of a Large Scale, Long Range Air Assault (L2A2) to the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC). The operation will move brigade-level combat power over 500miles from Fort Campbell, Ky, to Fort Johnson, La, utilizing UH-60 Black Hawks and CH-47 Chinooks under the cover of darkness, May 8th, 2025.
