YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 7, 2025) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Maria Brasil from Atlanta, Georgia, ties mousing over the locking pin on the pelican hook of the anchor on the fo’c’sle of the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) during special sea and anchor detail while departing Yokosuka, Japan, May 7. Benfold is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s Largest DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
