YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 7, 2025) Seaman Carlos Figueroa, from Houston, Texas, releases the brake on the anchor chain on the fo’c’sle of the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) during special sea and anchor detail while departing Yokosuka Japan, May 7. Benfold is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s Largest DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
