At a ribbon cutting ceremony, May 5, 2025, leaders gathered at Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) to officially reopen Bullard Hall as a state-of-the-art scientific education and research facility following a nearly four-year renovation. Drs. Wenschel Lan and Oleg Yakimenko, chairs of the NPS Space Systems Academic Group and Systems Engineering department, respectively, were joined by (from left to right) Naval Support Activity Monterey Commanding Officer U.S. Navy Capt. Robert Smith; NPS President retired U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Ann Rondeau; NPS acting Provost Dr. Jim Newman; and U.S. Navy Capt. Cathy Eyrich, executive officer of Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC) Southwest.
