A soldier, accompanied by a range safety engages targets during a “stress shoot” event as part of the North Carolina National Guard’s Best Warrior competition at Camp Butner National Guard Training Center here, March 26 - 28. The three-day event tested competitor’s physical strength and endurance, tactical/technical knowledge and their basic soldier skills. The NCNG’s Best Warrior Competition concluded with a test of military knowledge, leadership and bearing of the best NCNG soldiers by a board of senior leaders.
