Fort Campbell DENTAC sharpened their warrior skills during a recent validation exercise (VALEX), reinforcing readiness in both clinical and combat environments.
As part of the training, Soldiers participated in a “dental rodeo,” simulating field dental operations under austere conditions. This included patient intake, x-rays, and oral exams—demonstrating that dental care remains mission-essential, even in forward environments.
Exercises like these highlight the vital role of Army medical teams—not just in care, but in combat readiness.
