U.S. Soldiers, assigned to 90th Sustainment Brigade, assigned to Task Force Tough Hombres, meet with members of U.S Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, to coordinate joint security efforts at the U.S. Border Patrol Sector Headquarters for the Rio Grande Valley Sector at McAllen, Texas, April 29, 2025. The meeting focused on strategies for enhancing monitoring and detection and response times to high traffic crossing zones for illegal aliens along the southern border. Under the direction of U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
