Elizabeth Dubil, the senior medical officer assigned to Naval Medical Forces Atlantic (NMFL), operates the Da Vinci Surgical System during an ovarian surgical procedure on board Naval Support Activity (NSA) Hampton Roads - Portsmouth Annex, April 14, 2025. Having healthcare providers at the regional level continue to provide expert-level care ensures their skills remain sharp and mission-ready, supporting the operational readiness of Navy forces and the health of Navy service members. Dubil was selected to serve on a two year term on the national committee, The Foundation for Women's Cancer Patient Education Committee. The committee is responsible for the oversight, development and delivery of all Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) patient education about gynecologic cancers and strives to provide up to date, easily accessible and innovative materials and programming in topics encompassing gynecologic cancer prevention, risk reduction, treatment, supportive care and survivorship.
