PHILIPPINE SEA (Apr. 19, 2025) Damage Controlman 1st Class Anthony Brown, from Columbus, Ohio, conducts damage control training on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) in the Philippine Sea, April 19. The Sailors on the hose team simulated putting out a Class “BRAVO” fire, involving flammable and combustible liquids such as gasoline. Benfold, assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, is underway in the 7th Fleet area of operations conducting advanced tactical training that enhances warfighting capability and tactical proficiency.
