Eva Yokley, River Ridge High School student and Civil Air Patrol cadet (left), holds her Certificate of Acceptance along with Cdr. Keith Watson, Assistant Director of Admissions for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, after accepting her offer of appointment to attend the academy during the 2025 Georgia Service Academy Day on April 26, 2025, at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. Yokley attended the event as a member of the Civil Air Patrol honor guard group that presented the colors and was honored with the presentation of her Certificate of Acceptance afterward.
