Staff Sgt. Donnie A. Casebolt, chief instructor of Corporals' Course and the Marine Aviation Logistics Detachment staff non-commissioned officer-in-charge, Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364 (Rein.), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, gives a class on close order drill to students in the Corporals' Course in the hangar bay of USS Peleliu, March 21. Casebolt, 29, is from Athens, Ala., and is married with four kids. He is the 12th Marine in his family and joined because he wanted to make a difference and become a part of something bigger than himself. He chose the aviation community after being persuaded by one his uncles who was also a Marine. To pass the time on deployment, Casebolt enjoys teaching drill, working out and serving as the chief instructor of Corporals' Course. He is looking forward to spending time with his family when he gets home. The 15th MEU is deployed as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group as a U.S. Central Command theater reserve force, providing support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
