Spc. Greg Mingledorff, a soldier with the 43rd Air Defense Artillery Battalion and Montgomery, Ala., native, checks off on leave at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, April 1, 2013. Mingledorff is currently deployed to Kuwait and was coming home for R&R. He was aboard the military's last charted flight out of the Central Command area of operations as the R&R leave program shifts to individual tickets supplied to troops which will save the Department of Defense money and the service members and their families time.
