The dress rehearsal provided the 8th & I marchers, hosts, and staff the opportunity to conduct a full Friday Evening Parade rehearsal in uniform before the official start of parade season. The Friday Evening Parade is a time-honored tradition that showcases the precision and discipline of the Marine Corps, featuring performances by the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, the “Commandant's Own" United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, and the “President's Own" United States Marine Band.
