JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON – (April 16, 2025) – Commanding Officer Capt. Michael M. Tiller, Medical Corps, Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU) San Antonio, hosted his first All Hands meeting held at the Military and Family Readiness Center. The meeting program consisted of hails and farewells of personnel, award/medal presentations and directorate/leadership updates. NAMRU San Antonio is one of eight research commands within Navy Medicine Research and Development. Its mission is to conduct gap driven combat casualty care, craniofacial, and directed energy research to improve survival, operational readiness, and safety of Department of Defense personnel engaged in routine and expeditionary operations.
