YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 11, 2025) Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Services Policy and Oversight Susan Orsega presents a coin to U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka Director Capt. Torrin Velazquez. Velazquez is also the commanding officer of U.S. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Yokosuka, which is collocated within the hospital and ensures active duty and assigned civilian staff are trained, manned, and equipped for operational readiness.
