YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 11, 2025) Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Services Policy and Oversight Susan Orsega and her staff pose with U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka Director Capt. Torrin Velazquez during her visit to the hospital. During the visit, Orsega engaged hospital leadership, staff and Sailors and thanked them for the significant role they play in keeping warfighters and their families in a high state of medical readiness. Velazquez is also the commanding officer of USNMRTC Yokosuka, which is collocated within the hospital and ensures active duty and assigned civilian staff are trained, manned, and equipped for operational readiness.
