Alaska Air National Guard pararescuemen assigned to the 212 Rescue Squadron assist each other with securing their equipment, Apr. 10, 2025, before executing a jump during a training mission. The pararescuemen of the AKANG’s 212th RQS, who are among the busiest combat search and rescue operators in the world, executed a low-landing jump from the C-17 into Chiniak Bay near Kodiak, Alaska, to conduct water personnel recovery and rescue training.
