Maj. Gen. Scott Naumann, commanding general of the 10th Mountain Division and Joint Task Force – Southern Border, spoke with Acting Deputy Patrol Agent in Charge Samuel Chavez, who expressed appreciation for the continued partnership, during a meet and greet at the Ajo Border Patrol Station, Ariz., April 10, 2025. Under the direction of U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force - Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
