Blanchfield Army Community Hospital recently welcomed Brig. Gen. Jamie Burk, Command Surgeon of U.S. Army Forces Command and 27th Chief of the Army Nurse Corps. Soon to assume command of Medical Readiness Command, East, Brig. Gen. Burk toured the hospital to gain insight into BACH’s current operations and capabilities. During his visit, he engaged with Soldiers and staff, shared his perspective on the state of military medicine, and took time to hear their feedback. He also recognized several standout team members with a commander’s coin for their professionalism and dedication.
These visits show how senior leaders remain actively engaged—working alongside us to ensure we’re best positioned to support our Soldiers, their families, our retirees, and our BACH Team.
