U.S. Navy Lt. Mark Driver receives his systems engineering degree on stage from keynote speaker U.S. Navy Adm. Cecil D. Haney, former commander of U.S. Strategic Command and U.S. Pacific Fleet, during the Naval Postgraduate School’s (NPS) 2025 Winter Quarter graduation ceremony March 28, 2025. Prior to completing his NPS degree in systems engineering, Driver had the opportunity to present his well-received NPS research on kinetic orbital bombardment (KOB) to counter maritime threats during the Directed Energy Professional Society's Directed Energy Test and Evaluation Conference.
