Jamil Samuel, assigned to the U.S. Army Medical Logistics Command, practices medical skills April 1 while training for the Best Warrior Competition at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania April 3-5, 2025. The event, hosted by the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, included dozens of competitors from across the state’s major commands, as well as CECOM and international participants from Lithuania. The event included an obstacle course, day and night land navigation, firearm qualifications, a combat fitness test, 12-mile ruck march, medical lanes, as well as a written exam and board.
