250326-N-WE249-2627 STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. – Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS) Petty Officer 1st Class Christopher Rivera Ramos briefs Rear Adm. Carlos Sardiello, commander, U.S. Fourth Fleet, and Rear Adm. Jose Felix Quimbaya Sarmiento, with the Colombian chief of naval operations headquarters, on the command’s Outboard Motor Maintenance and Overhaul (OBM) course during a recent tour of the international training command’s facilities located on the John C. Stennis Space Center in South Mississippi.
OBM is an eight-week course of instruction designed to provide foreign security force personnel with the knowledge and skills required of a basic outboard motor technician.
NAVSCIATTS training builds partnerships, strengthens allies, and deters adversaries to address shared global challenges. The command operates in support of foreign security assistance and geographic combatant commanders’ theater security cooperation priorities. (U.S. Navy photo by Sharon M. Mock)
