U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Joel De La Cruz, an infantryman assigned to the 10th Mountain Division, Task Force Armadillo, demonstrates personnel search procedures to Syrian Free Army (SFA) soldiers during a visit to a combat outpost in the Deconfliction Zone, Syria, on Feb. 7, 2025. During the visit, Coalition members assessed the outpost’s conditions and trained SFA soldiers in personnel searches and checkpoint operations.
