Sgt. Leonardo Curbelo prepares an emergency department trauma bay to receive simulated injured patients at Winn Army Community Hospital March 7. The hospital participated n a mass casualty exercise that began with the 2nd Brigade Armored Combat Team requesting 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade medical evacuation support. The two 3rd Infantry Division units participated in the capstone event for exercise Spartan Focus, one of the wickets in the armored brigade’s journey to being ready for its warfighter mission for deployment anytime, anywhere.
