U.S. Navy Lt. John Potter, a chaplain, shows no mercy to his opponent during a ping-pong game with a student from the Nikom School in Chonburi province, Kingdom of Thailand, part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. U.S. Marines and sailors visited the school to build relationships with members of the local community. Exercise Cobra Gold is the largest multinational exercise in the Asia-Pacific region and provides the Kingdom of Thailand, United States, Singapore, Japan, Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and observer nations, an opportunity to maintain relationships and enhance interoperability.
