U.S. Marines and sailors along with Royal Thai Navy sailors lie in the prone position before a tug of war competition Feb. 19 with the students from the Nikom School in Chonburi province, Kingdom of Thailand, during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. U.S. Marines and sailors visited the school to build relationships with members of the local community. Exercise Cobra Gold, in its 32nd iteration, is designed to advance regional security and ensure effective response to regional crises by exercising a robust multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region.
