U.S. Marine Cpl. Yrene Vega shows children at the Nikom School a chicken dinner, one of the Meals Ready-to-Eat used by U.S. service members during exercises and deployments, in Chonburi province, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 19, part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. U.S. Marines and sailors visited the school to build relationships with members of the local community. Exercise Cobra Gold, in its 32nd iteration, is designed to advance regional security and ensure effective response to regional crises by exercising a robust multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region.
