Participants of the Norwegian Foot March challenge in La Plata, Md., March 16, 2013, smile and show esprit de corps at the beginning stages of the 30-kilometer event. The challenge was orchestrated by the Maryland Army National Guard, but service members from the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force active, Reserve, and Guard, participated for the chance to be awarded the Norwegian Foot March Badge for permanent wear on their uniform.
