    LOS ANGELES — Baron Arakawa, civil engineer and program manager with the Los Angeles District’s Emergency Management Branch, surveys two schools in preparation for next month’s debris removal operations Jan. 31 in Los Angeles County, California. USACE Los Angeles District received a mission from FEMA Jan. 17 to assist with debris removal in support of the State of California following the devastating Eaton and Pacific Palisades wildfires Jan. 7 in Los Angeles County.
