Members the District of Columbia National Guard State Partnership Program (SPP) and the of the Burkina Faso Armed Forces tour a U.S. Park Police (USPP) aviation unit, during a Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 26, 2025. The delegation received a capabilities briefing on search and rescue operations, and aircraft. The four-day SMEE enabled discussions on principals of interoperability and cooperation, featuring engagements with senior leaders, key District of Columbia partners, and a visit to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Station 40.
