Soldiers assigned to Caisson Detachment, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), pull a caisson as part of their weekly proficiency training at Fort Myer, Va., Feb. 27, 2025. The soldiers pulled the caisson along a 1-mile route to familiarize the horses to the environment and build the relationship between the soldiers and horses.
