Soldiers competing in Day two of the FY25 USARPAC Career Counselor of the Year competition at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, are assessed on the Army Combat Fitness Test Feb. 24, 2025. The ACFT evaluates key areas such as strength, endurance, and agility. Soldiers must be physically fit as part of the most lethal fighting force in the world. The competition winner will represent Team USARPAC in April at the Head Quarters Department of the Army. The Army hosts competitions like this to recognize and highlight career counselors' exceptional skills, dedication, and professionalism, highlighting their essential role in guiding soldiers through their careers and helping with reenlistment, career development, and overall retention.
