Recruits compete in Damage Control (DC) Olympics at Freedom Hall onboard Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois. This event consists of pull-ups, weighted line heaving, sea bag relay, rescue carry relay, basketball, and a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) relay.More than 40,000 recruits train annually at the Navy's only boot camp.
