A prototype of the Vision and Intelligence Systems for Medical Teaming Applications Point of Care system, developed by the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center, is shown installed on the ceiling of an M997 ambulance during training exercises with the 437 Medical Company Ground Ambulance unit at the Northern Strike Army National Guard Exercise at Camp Grayling, Michigan in August 2024. VISTA POC is a camera-based casualty monitoring system for use in evacuation vehicles that allows medics to continuously monitor multiple casualties for the full duration of an evacuation.
