U.S. Air Force Reserve medical technicians with the 624th Aeromedical Staging Squadron run out to a HH-60 Black Hawk helicopter assigned to the Hawaii Army National Guard, for a simulated patient litter carry during Exercise NEXUS FORGE at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Feb. 5, 2025. NEXUS FORGE brought Citizen Airmen and U.S. Army Soldiers together for a joint training event designed to enhance interoperability and combat readiness before deployment. Through realistic mission scenarios, participants refine tactical combat casualty care, deployment processes, and Agile Combat Employment skills to ensure they’re ready for any fight.
