We were honored to welcome Maj. Gen. SAKATA Yuki, Director of Public Affairs for the Japanese Joint Staff, and his fantastic team to the Defense Information School and DMA HQ October 10, 2024, at Fort Meade, MD. Their visit highlights the importance of connecting to strengthen our partnership, share how we handle public affairs and enable visual information creation and dissemination across the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Through engaging briefings and interactive tours, we explored the heart of our public affairs training and media operations. By collaborating directly, we're helping each other improve how we manage public relations and share information between our two countries.
