Allen Bodenlos, Pearl Harbor survivor, shows Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 13 a photo after sharing his story at Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 14. Bodenlos, a Cleveland, Ohio, native, enlisted into the Army on July 9, 1940, and was assigned to the 804th Engineer Aviation Battalion at Schofield Barracks, HI. Dec. 7, 1941, the Army-Navy YMCA ordered all military personnel to report to their units. Bodenlos returned to witness Pearl Harbor under attack by Japanese pilots.
