A U.S. Army crew chief, assigned to Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment, conducts pre-flight checks on an UH-72 Lakota helicopter at West Ramp, Laredo International Airport, Laredo, Texas, Feb. 15, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
