Hill’s role involves ensuring USACE readiness for disaster response and recovery across the nation, and during his visit to the Nashville District he traveled to several different sites including Old Hickory Lock & Dam and the tornado-damaged Rockland Recreation Area. Rockland is scheduled for reopening in time for the 2026 recreation season.
