An AV-8B Harrier pilot with Marine Attack Squadron 231 sits in his aircraft and checks his equipment before departing Cherry Point March 11. The squadron personnel along six AV-8B Harriers will attach to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 (Reinforced) to provide attack and close-air support along with armed reconnaissance for the 26th MEU.
