U.S. Navy Lt. Joseph Pinzl, a chaplain with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, participates in an endurance course during a Jungle Religious Ministry Course at the Jungle Warfare Training Center on Camp Gonsalves, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 29, 2024. JREL teaches students basic jungle survival skills, tactical rope suspension techniques, and land navigation tactics to enhance religious ministry skills in harsh jungle environments. 2/6 is forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 3d Marine Division as part of their unit deployment program.
