YIGO, Guam (Jan. 21, 2024) - Engineering technicians with the Office in Charge of Construction (OICC) Marine Corps Marianas (MCM) attend a crane load test on their project site in late January.
Cranes are among the most potentially lethal pieces of equipment on a construction site. Construction on Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz involves more than twenty cranes in operation on a daily basis.
The Office in Charge of Construction (OICC) Marine Corps Marianas is responsible for ensuring that each crane and crew undergo load testing before using a crane for their project work.
