Members of the 155th Medical Group Detachment 1, and the Nebraska Army National Guard conduct casualty search and rescue in a hot zone during a rigorous field training exercise at Atlas Readiness Center near Yutan, Nebraska, April 19, 2024. This annual joint exercise tested the ability of the 208 Army and Air personnel assigned to the Nebraska National Guard Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Enhanced Response Force Package team to respond to CBRNE incidents in order to assist local, state and federal agencies in conducting crisis and response management by providing capabilities to conduct casualty decontamination, medical triage and treatment, casualty search and extraction and fatality search and recovery in order to save lives.
