U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jesus Perez, a tactical resupply drone operator with 12th Littoral Logistics Battalion, 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, secures a training load for the Tactical Resupply Drone-150 during Artillery Relocation Training Program 24.3 at Ojojihara Maneuver Area, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, Nov. 29, 2024. Unmanned aircraft provide enhanced situational awareness, quick resupply capabilities, and reduce the footprint of military personnel. The skills developed at ARTP increase the proficiency and readiness of the only permanently forward-deployed artillery unit in the Marine Corps, enabling them to provide indirect fires.
