YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 3, 2024) – Coastguardsmen assigned to the Japan Coast Guard Vessel JCG Kinugasa (MS-01) retrieve sediment samples from the harbor during a joint drill dry run at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka. This marks the 17th Joint Drill between the U.S. Navy, the Government of Japan, and the City of Yokosuka, showcasing the enduring partnership and strengthening the vital alliance between the U.S. Navy and Japan.
