U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Quincey Peagler, a Logistics Specialist with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, observes Marines and U.S. Navy Sailors as they conduct a mass casualty exercise at Kin Blue Beach Training Area, Okinawa, Dec. 6, 2024. Marines with the 31st MEU participated in an exercise to enhance interoperability and strengthen ship-to-shore capabilities. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force, ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
